Memorial Service Updates

Due to the amazing and overwhelming amount of support and, therefore, suspected turnout for the service, we are changing the location for Nacho's memorial to Hudson Hall (Roger's Music Center) on the Willamette Campus. The service will still be at 3:00 with a reception immediately following. Signs will be on campus directing you to the new location.

    It was a lovely service and so evident what a wonderful man Nacho was to so many people. I am sorry that I was not able to personally say hello but you were clearly surrounded by many friends and family members. I did get a chance to say hello to Terra and am keeping her and your family in our family prayers.

    The Alta memorial service for Nacho Córdova will take place this Saturday night from 7:30-9:00 p.m., in the Maybird Room of the Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, Utah. R.I.P., my dear friend.

    I met Nacho at the University of Maryland in 1983. Always happy-go-lucky and sweet. We worked together at the Spanish and Portuguese Dept. I just found out today and I am deeply saddened. My prayers are with his family. Que descanses en paz, amigo...
